Hi there! I’m a journalist from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Currently, I’m an Associate Editor, Food and Lifestyle, at People Magazine. Before that, I was a Production Assistant at Kitchn (Apartment Therapy Media) where I worked on the recipe team. I’ve been a contributor at the TODAY Show’s Digital site, today.com. There, I wrote a range of money + careers, food, and lifestyle articles. I’ve also contributed to Good Housekeeping, Apartment Therapy, INSIDER and Food52.
I received a Journalism degree from Boston University, and graduated in the spring of 2020. My experiences at BU helped lead me to several enriching internships and opportunities.
In the summer of 2019, I interned at the TODAY Show. I’m a life-long TODAY fan, so every morning walking into Studio 1A and 30 Rock was a pinch-me moment. The experience solidified my passion for digital media.
My digital and print media skills are far-reaching. I’ve also written for Bauer Media UK when I studied abroad in London. I fell in love with health writing/content when I wrote for a wellness magazine there. I’ve also interned at Boston’s NPR Station, WGBH, Boston Magazine, Boston Common Magazine, and Haute Living Miami.
In my free time, I play amateur food critic on my blog + food Instagram @antoneappetit / antoneappetit.com, aspiring to reach Barefoot Contessa status. I enjoy core power yoga (and no, I’m not even close to reaching headstand level yet). And I love heading to the beach with my triplet sisters when I’m home in South Florida.
